Here at Hire A Hubby, we are proud to stand up to our Corporate Social Responsibility. Operating Australia wide allows us to enter a number of communities, from metro to regional and with this comes great opportunity. We promote this responsibility to our network through two main initiatives close to our hearts:
- Our partnership with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA)
- Our work in the local communities in which we service
Our entire network meets annually for our National Conference and for a number of a years in a row, we had Hubbies not in attendance due to a Prostate Cancer diagnosis. It was this that made us realise we could use our powers for good so we set out to do just that. All our Hubbies signed up to donate $1 from every invoice with the aim to drive awareness of men’s health across Australia.
That idea drove us to the ‘Man Van’ concept! The money was going to help us put a van on the road to drive around the country, educating men and women on Prostate Cancer and the importance of getting checked. We are pleased to announce that at our 2015 National Conference in Uluru, the Man Van was officially on the road. Find out more about our journey with the PCFA and our Man Van.
Significantly, as of 1 April 2023, we doubled our donation to the PCFA to $2 per invoice. Click here to read more.
At a more local level, our Hubbies have gone above and beyond, dedicating their time and services to their communities. From working with the PCYC, to planting a school vegetable garden, to sponsoring the local footy teams, we are a network that gives back on a regular basis. Check out some of the amazing things our Hubbies have been up to in their local communities.
