At our annual National Conference, we noticed the absence of some of our Hubbies due to prostate cancer diagnoses. This realisation inspired us to leverage our platform for a greater purpose. We initiated a collective effort where each of our Hubbies pledged to donate $1 from every invoice to raise awareness of men’s health issues throughout Australia.
This initiative sparked the creation of the groundbreaking ‘Man Van’ concept. With the funds raised, we embarked on a mission to launch a mobile education unit that would travel across the country, spreading awareness about prostate cancer and the importance of regular screenings. We are delighted to announce that at the 2015 National Conference in Uluru, the Man Van officially hit the road, marking a significant milestone in our journey with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA).
Hire A Hubby is fast approaching $1M donated to Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, thanks to an ongoing partnership that has helped thousands of Australian men and families since 2013.
More than 300 Hire A Hubby franchisees have supported the partnership, donating $2 from every invoice to the nation’s peak body in the fight against prostate cancer.
