The highly anticipated Hire A Hubby Franchisee of the Year Awards 2026 took place on Sunday, 30th August at the Gala Dinner during the Hire A Hubby National Conference in Cairns, Queensland, recognising the outstanding achievements of franchise owners from Queensland to Tasmania. This prestigious event celebrates franchisees who have demonstrated remarkable growth, leadership, and commitment to the Hire A Hubby brand and excellence in their respective businesses.
The Franchisee of the Year Awards showcases top franchisees at various levels – New Franchisee of the Year, Man In A Van, Multi-Person Operation, Enterprise, and National Franchisee of the Year – who consistently demonstrate strong financial and operational performance, commitment to providing quality customer service and experience, supporting supply partners and other franchisees, and supporting the franchise system as a whole.

Outstanding Service Awards
Two recently retired franchisees were also recognised for their exceptional length of service and ongoing commitment to the Hire A Hubby network.
- Neil Gibbins, formerly of Hire A Hubby Gladesville (NSW), from 2003 to 2026 – Hire A Hubby’s longest-serving franchisee. The Gladesville territory is now owned by the Hire A Hubby Crows Nest franchisee.
- Bill & Alison Blakey, formerly of Hire A Hubby Campbelltown (NSW), from 2012 to 2026.
