The local women’s golf on the Northern Beaches puts together a week of Golf Tournament which crosses over 8 golf courses for a week. This year they had 688 entries.
It started off with Jim Kelly from Hire A Hubby Narrabeen being invited by one of his customers to be part of the sponsorships. It was such a big success that the following year he invited the rest of the Hubbies on the beaches to take out the Silver Sponsorship and so the Hire A Hubby Northern Beaches has been part of this great event for the last 3 years.
The highlight for the women is on the presentation night – all the Hubbies stand up front to present the awards – so there are 6 or 7 hugs per winner and a lot of whooping goes on.
Great success had by all and Committee for Barrenjoey Week of Golf want us back again next year for more hugs. They reckon the Hubbies make the presentation night!
