At Hire A Hubby we are obsessed with home renovations and all the TV programming dedicated to the delight that comes from a maison makeover. For those of you that haven’t been keeping up with House Rules, here’s a quick rundown of what it is and why we love it!

Aim of the Game:
Travel the country, hand over the keys to their homes and leave their opposition to transform every room in their house in just 7 days to win a prize of being mortgage free! Guided by just five House Rules, the teams will each be given a designated zone in the house and they must draw on all their creative talents, determination and strategy to achieve the most stunning reveals.

Three weeks into the programme, we’ve been shown the transformation of Bronik & Corrine’s home in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs, Ryan & Marlee’s home in Adelaide, South Australia and Steve & Tiana’s  Western Sydney home in New South Wales. Each guided by 5 rules, the end result has left them with homes that are the envy of the neighbourhood.
